“I hope she’ll be a fool — that’s the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool.”
― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby (1925)
It is a memorable line in The Great Gatsby.
The heroine — Daisy — wants her daughter to be a beautiful little fool.
This series title “Blanc Cassé” means the broken white in French traditional colour. There is no deep-black evil, also there is no snowy-white innocence. I wonder what is the best thing the girls can be in this broken modern world.
