We’re taking a look at Business Relationships from the Studio Allston Hotel, who created these full color custom notebooks to share information on the local artists whose work is located at the hotel. “The Studio Allston Hotel brand was developed by Proportion around the theme “Stay outside the frame” and included significant collaged brand art that visually represents the controlled chaos of an artists mind, complete with sketches and notes from their own notebooks. Pulling the guest room information into the Scout Book fit perfectly with that artistic brand narrative. The pages include biography and Boston-centric information on 19 featured artists whose work is incorporated into the hotel. Through the art direction, Isenberg Projects aimed to showcase a wide range of mediums and styles within the Studio Allston Hotel. They placed a strong emphasis on local artists to highlight Boston’s bold creative culture. The map on the final spread of the notebook also highlights the local art museums and universities that help foster that creative community.”
